What is Holistic Psychotherapy?

At Mindful Path Counseling & Wellness, we see our job as helping others on their journey. Every person has a unique and individualized path to healing. Trauma can be any event that was unexpected, and that we felt unprepared for. Unshakeable anxiety and depression are typically the by-products of experienced trauma that has not been metabolized by the brain/body, leaving our nervous system in a state of chronic stress. Anxiety and depression can even be caused by witnessing trauma secondhand.
